Miss Baby Sol is a British Soul artist born in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
As a singer, Baby has worked with artists including:
Paloma Faith, Jamie Cullum, Jazz Jamaica, Laura Mvula, and Florence + the Machine.
Baby’s music is influenced by artists such as Nina Simone, Eartha Kitt, Grace Jones, Billie Holiday
and Sarah Vaughan, encompassing powerful Soul, Jazz and Reggae.
Miss Baby Sol released her debut EP in 2011, which included three singles:
'Always', 'No No' and 'She Cries'.
The latter song was released in support of the efforts of Amnesty International
to stop rape as a weapon of war, as well as in recognition of its part in establishing the International Criminal Court.
In addition to her solo projects and charity work, Baby has collaborated with a number of people as a songwriter.
These include her chart-topping collaboration, as co-writer and vocalist, with UK dance producer Redlight,
as well as for the 2014 campaign single for No More Page 3, ‘Now’s The Time’.
